Why I Started AI Unleashed: Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators in Ireland

As a cybersecurity expert, I’ve seen how quickly technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), is transforming our world. AI is defined as the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think, learn, and make decisions. From healthcare to finance, AI is creating exciting career opportunities in fields like data science, machine learning, and cybersecurity. Yet, many students in Ireland don’t have early exposure to AI, which is why I started AI Unleashed.

This workshop is designed to give Transition Year students a hands-on introduction to the world of AI. Through interactive sessions, they’ll learn the basics of machine learning, data analysis, and AI models, gaining skills that are crucial for the future of work. AI is already revolutionising industries, and by participating, students will be prepared for careers that are in high demand.

In addition to technical skills, we also focus on the ethical aspects of AI, helping students understand its impact on privacy and decision-making. By providing this opportunity, AI Unleashed aims to equip students with the knowledge and confidence to thrive in an AI-driven world.
